crunch

about crunch

Crunch is a quiet, chronological place for posting into the void — and finding the people who do the same.

No algorithm decides what you see. No promoted posts, no engagement scores, no push notifications demanding your attention. Just the blogs you follow, in the order they posted, on a timeline that doesn't care if you check it.

We built it because we missed the old web. Places where people posted for themselves and stumbled into community by accident. Where your tags were your diary, not your SEO strategy. Where being unseen wasn't a failure state.

the void counter

Every post shows a void count — the number of people who saw it and said nothing. We show it calmly, without shame. Posting into the void is part of the product, not a bug in it. Sometimes you write for the writing. That's fine.

what you can do here

Post text, photos, photosets, quotes, links, chats, audio, video. Tag everything or nothing. Queue posts for later. Send anonymous asks to blogs you follow. Reblog with your own commentary — your words become a post on your blog, the original voice stays credited. Follow tags, not just people. Block, mute, mute a reblog, filter content warnings.

Every blog gets an RSS feed. No lock-in.

what you can't do here

Harass people. Doxx anyone. Post content that's illegal where we're hosted. Game an algorithm — there isn't one to game.

who runs it

A small team. We don't have investors, we don't run ads, we don't sell your data. Crunch is a place, not a platform. We intend to keep it that way.
